Activity Report of Japan-Asia Youth Exchange Program in Science: A study on the construction and support of academic information infrastructure in Asia

The objectives of this exchange plan are; 1.Learning the latest technology and current conditions about the academic information infrastructure, 2.Promoting the exchange opportunities between young librarians and researchers about library informatics in Japan and Vietnam, 3.Introducing viable technology without a large scale infrastructure 4. Understanding Japan’s academic information infrastructure based on the corporation of the public and private sectors together. We invited 10 Vietnamese young librarians and researchers from all over Vietnam. They will visit some libraries, archives, institutes which have practiced and taken advantages of the unique features themselves.
