I am pleased to announce our Special Feature for 1 June 2016 (there is no “Young Academic’s Voice for the month of June), on “Nonviolent Action: The Ultimate Sacrifice” which discusses the act of self-immolation and its links to the religious movements in the region”, written by CJ Hinke who is a co-founder of the Nonviolent Conflict Workshop (NVCW) and Thailand Peace Pledge against military conscription in Bangkok, Thailand.
